Laundry is the very basis of what we do here at ASKO – you can read our story to find out more about how the company started when our founder built a high-quality washing machine for his mother. In the decades since then, we've continued in this vein – and we've also spent a lot of time getting to know what people want to see in their laundry appliances.
By listening closely to what our customers want, we've developed products that balance high-quality, functional, timeless design with useful features, resilience, performance, real care for the user's health and wellbeing, and respect for nature. And we've worked constantly to develop appliances that deliver the care that you, in turn, want to show your washing, which you trust our machines to make clean and comfortable.

We work from the basis that carefully designed products should improve your health, your wellbeing, and your quality of life. Over the years, we've designed and developed washing machines that makes a home beautiful and functional, as well as providing the best possible results. We removed the biggest bacteria trap inside a typical washing machine: namely, the rubber door bellow. Instead, we use a unique, hygienic and maintenance-free Steel Seal™ solution in all of our washing machines. This means that there is simply no place for dirt to gather. All of our washing machines also have Quattro Construction™ – in which the inner and outer drum rest on four shock absorbers attached to the bottom plate, giving a lower noise level and, overall, a more durable washing machine.
Tumble Dryers
ASKO’s Heat Pump Dryers are closed systems in which air constantly circulates, meaning that they can be installed in confined spaces. The air is dehumidified with the help of an evaporator instead of heat alone, allowing lower temperatures to be used in the process. This, in turn, makes the drying process gentler, without any loss of drying capacity or effectiveness. The Heat Pump Dryer also reduces the risk of shrinkage – meaning very sensitive fabrics can be tumbled. Our Heat Pump technology, in combination with our Sensi Dry system and a wide range of automatic programs, makes our Heat Pump Tumble Dryers extremely energy-efficient.

At ASKO, we are committed to designing washing machines that are asthma- and allergy-free. This commitment has resulted in all ASKO washing machines being awarded the prestigious Sensitive Choice award by the National Asthma Council Australia. Sensitive Choice Products have been reviewed and approved by an independent panel of experts that can include everything from an allergist to a respiratory physician. With our Steel Seal™ concept, ASKO washing machines are the only domestic washing machines without rubber bellows. This combined with our allergy programs and extra rinse function means 95% less microbiological load, less viruses, bacteria, mould, mites and no detergent residue.

Laundry Detergents
ASKO detergents have been created with care in mind: made to look after clothes, and the people wearing them. Six enzymes provide extra washing power, breaking down any tough stains and keeping garments fresh. The detergents are also specially formulated for a reduced environmental impact – with a 99% natural, formula, free from dyes, animal-based ingredients, phosphates and parabens. They’re enhanced with scents inspired by Scandinavian nature, and are perfect for ASKO machines.re
